Natural and Complementary Therapies
Whether or not you decide to incorporate these therapies is entirely up to you. Rest assured - we’re here to support you either way.

Do natural therapies work?
While many holistic therapies aren’t proven medically to work, some of our patients report seeing great results. Whether it’s the treatments themselves, the sense of being assisted, or the feelings of wellbeing, self-confidence and calm that can result from these treatments - we don’t honestly know.
What we do know is this: if something seems to be working for you, it’s a good idea to keep doing it!
Fertility and complementary therapies
There is limited scientific evidence that complementary therapies improve your chances of having a baby. However, these therapies can absolutely enhance your general health and wellbeing.
Fertility treatment and its associated uncertainty can be a stressful experience—and some research has shown that stress can negatively impact fertility treatment. Many natural or complementary therapies are designed to reduce your levels of stress and anxiety.
Just remember to let your fertility specialist know if you’re using any natural therapies or supplements. This way, they can check that nothing will interfere with your fertility treatment.
