Monash IVF Frankston is located within the Frankston Private centre, one of the largest day hospital developments in Australia. This hospital provides advanced medical facilities, including radiotherapy with day chemotherapy, advanced day procedures such as endoscopy and surgery, as well as a conference facility and pharmacy.
Frankston Private provides a broad range of healthcare services within the one facility, with a particular focus on cancer services. The facility comprises a three theatre and 17 bed day surgery facility, a two bunker radiotherapy unit, day oncology, pathology, radiology services and medical consulting.
It is expected that egg pick and transfers will commence in 2009.

Associate Professor Peter Lutjen Monash IVF National Medical Director
Associate Professor Peter Lutjen's practice includes general gynaecology with a major interest in infertility. As well as general gynaecological surgery, procedures including laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery and tubal microsurgery are offered. He has many years experience in all aspects of in vitro fertilisation.
Dr Tim Sturrock
Dr Tim Sturrock trained in Melbourne at Prince Henry's Hospital, and completed his specialist training at Monash Medical Centre. After 2 years in the U.K. as Obstetric and Gynaecological Registrar at Pembury Hospital in Kent, he returned to Australia and trained as a Reproductive Medical Fellow at Monash Medical Centre. Dr Sturrock joined Monash IVF as a Specialist Fertility Clinician in 1997 and continues to work as a general Obstetrician with special interests in infertility and laparoscopic surgery including endometriosis.
Dr Philip Thomas
Dr Philip Thomas graduated with honors from Monash University Medical School, in 1991. He has a private practice in general obstetrics and gynaecology emphasizing his specific expertise in treatment of severe endometriosis and advanced laparoscopic surgery, consulting in Brighton, Williamstown, Leongatha and Frankston. Dr Thomas has specific interests in sub-fertility, endometriosis and its surgical treatment, menstrual disorders and total laparoscopic hysterectomy Professor David Healy
Professor David Healy is renowned for his work in endometriosis and is the Chair of the Monash University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Professor Healy is Head of the Reproductive Biology Unit at Monash Medical Centre. Professor Healy has been a Specialist Fertility Clinician at Monash IVF since 1985. He is Head of the Monash IVF Casterton clinic servicing Mt Gambier, Warrnambool, Horsham, Casterton and Hamilton.
Dr Luk Rombauts
Dr. Rombauts consults in Richmond, Clayton, Frankston and Seymour and is the Research Director for clinical projects at Monash IVF. He is a senior member of the staff at Monash Medical Centre where he holds specialist appointments as consultant in the Reproductive Biology Unit and as reproductive micro surgeon.
He also holds an appointment as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash University
